Getting started with an entry-level job at C3

Even if you have no qualifications or previous experience there’s a good chance the team at C3 will be able to offer you work. We’ve got casual and permanent roles, and if you’re keen to upskill and progress your career C3 will help with all the training and support you need. To get started, the best thing to do is to contact our HR team. The HR team will be able to help you with the application process and show you the types of jobs that are available.

Your work week

Depending on the role you take at C3, you’ll either be working a fixed-hour work week or shifts. The hours and shift times vary between our sites, and if you’re working shifts the number of hours you’ll have available to work each week can also vary depending on the workload. The HR team will do their best to work around your lifestyle and commitments, but if you’re signing up for shift work you do need to be flexible and understand the nature of the work means sometimes you’ll get called up for shifts at short notice.

C3 is a supply and logistics business tasked with the loading and unloading of ships, trains and trucks around 23 sites in New Zealand and Australia.

On the logistics side C3 stores and distributes everything from paper, steel and wood products to general cargo. The other core function of C3 is receiving and loading logs for export, in fact C3 handles nearly 30 million logs and 200,000 tonnes of woodchip each year.
